By day I’m a structural engineer, but by night I’m an avid mountaineer, musician and amateur photographer.  I also thoroughly enjoy cooking, good food and craft brew.

I was born and raised in western Massachusetts, and after graduating from UMass Amherst in 2003, I moved to the

west coast to pursue my graduate studies at Stanford.  I got a job and moved to San Francisco in 2004, and spent the majority of my time thereafter engineering things and exploring the western U.S. by car and by foot.

In August of 2010, after six unforgettable years in SF, I decided it was time to move back home to Massachusetts.  I currently live in West Springfield with my beautiful wife, Lauren, our sons, Levi and Vincent, and our goldendoodle, Penny.
